Peace is a collective process. All human beings and their behavior are interrelated. Active peaceful living is rooted in care, courage, compassion, and forgiveness.


MISSION

NYC Peace Museum will transform memories of intolerance, hatred, conflict and war into a re-dedication to life, peace and harmony. The museum will bring people together, inspiring and promoting a  “culture of peace” locally and globally.


VISION

The city of New York is a world financial, media and tourist center that hosts the headquarters of the United Nations. It does not yet have a Peace Museum. The September 11th  terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center further increase the significance of establishing such a site. A Peace Museum in Manhattan will become a powerful destination for all, creating a more peaceful world for all of humanity.
